🍇 Homemade Damson Jam ✨ Makes ~6 jars Ingredients: 1.5 kg damsons (whole, washed) 1.5 kg sugar 300 ml water (Optional) knob of butter Method: 1️⃣ Put whole damsons water in a large pan. Simmer 20–30 mins until soft and skins split. 2️⃣ Add sugar, stir to dissolve. Bring to the boil. 3️⃣ Boil hard 10–15 mins until setting point (wrinkle test on a chilled plate). 4️⃣ Remove stones as they float up (or sieve through a colander). 5️⃣ Pot into sterilised jars, seal straight away. 💡 Tips: High pecti
