There are culture-war moments that arrive with a bang, and then there are the ones that arrive like a polite cough from the other room. Turning Point USA’s newly announced “All-American Halftime Show,” timed to run opposite the Super Bowl LX halftime performance by Bad Bunny, feels like the latter — a spectacle that prompts a collective “huh?”

Turning Point USA will offer an alternative Super Bowl halftime show featuring Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett on February 8.

To counter the halftime show, Turning Point USA, a nonprofit organization founded in part by Charlie Kirk, announced it would hold its own halftime show with performances the group would support. This idea wasn't finalized until the week of the Super Bowl, when the organization finally announced its halftime show lineup.
