BRANSON, Mo. (KCTV) - After 33 years of thrilling riders through the Ozark Mountains, Silver Dollar City will retire its legendary Thunderation roller coaster at the end of the 2026 season.
Silver Dollar City announced it will close Thunderation, which opened in 1993 and was considered the park's first bona fide roller coaster.
